In 2021, with the introduction of plans for the construction of hydrogen energy industrial parks and hydrogenation stations in Zhejiang, Shandong and other provinces, China's hydrogen energy will usher in a new round of development boom.

According to the bus network, recently, the State Power Investment Zhongguancun Yanqingyuan Hydrogenation (70 MPa) Station in Yanqing District was completed and put into use. The station is the first hydrogenation station in Beijing with both 35 MPa and 70 MPa hydrogen filling capacity. The technical level and service level of the project not only improve the hydrogen guarantee capacity for Winter Olympics hydrogen fuel vehicles, it also provides more application scenarios for hydrogen energy in the domestic transportation field with demonstration significance.

The project started on April 10, 2021, and all the builders of CLP Wisdom (Green Hydrogen Technology) were successfully completed and put into production in just over two months.

"In the next step, we will actively cooperate with the demonstration operation of various hydrogen fuel vehicles in the Winter Olympics, explore the application of green hydrogen energy technology, fully participate in the construction of the integrated platform of hydrogen production, storage, transportation and hydrogenation in the Olympic competition area, realize centralized control of green hydrogen energy through intelligent scheduling, and serve Beijing's scientific and technological innovation, show the world the charm of 'zero carbon energy." From 35 MPa to 70 MPa, Zhongguancun Yanqingyuan Hydrogenation Station has achieved the "four major leaps" of cruising mileage, hydrogen supply capacity of the whole station, hydrogenation safety and intelligence ":

1. cruising range (hydrogen bus): about 300km(35Mpa) → about 500km(70Mpa)

2. Hydrogen supply capacity of the whole station: 30 buses per day → 60~100 buses (or 200 small and medium buses) per day

3. Hydrogenation safety: manual detection → automatic detection and automatic control

4. Intelligent degree: manual operation → automatic billing, code scanning payment, intelligent scheduling

Each filling of 70 MPa of hydrogen energy can support hydrogen energy vehicles to travel about 500 kilometers, and the 70 MPa hydrogenation station can supplement hydrogen energy for 60 to 100 buses or 200 small and medium-sized buses every day. At the same time, the international infrared communication protocol adopted by the 70 MPa hydrogenation station can realize the functions of automatic detection, automatic control, automatic billing, code scanning payment, intelligent scheduling and the like of the hydrogenation process.

By the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympic Games, there will be more than 1000 hydrogen energy vehicles in Beijing Yanqing competition area as a means of transportation to provide services for Olympic Organizing Committee officials, athletes and spectators from all over the world, and show the charm of "zero carbon energy" to the world. This will also be the largest hydrogen energy transportation demonstration in the history of the world. Let's wait and see.
